![]() Also pleased to meet with WASPI – Women Against State Pension Inequality Campaigners, at their demonstration outside Parliament today. The campaigners are rightly calling on the Government to make fair transitional arrangements for all women born on or after 6th April 1951 who have unfairly borne the burden of the increase to the State Pension Age (SPA). Hundreds of thousands of women have had significant changes imposed on them with a lack of appropriate notification. I made a short speech during one of the first WASPI debates last year, which you can read here – http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201516/cmhansrd/cm151202/halltext/151202h0001.htm
